The CoexArtium is Seoul’s newest performance theater. Since its opening in May 2009, it has hosted some of Korea’s most successful musicals. It is a separate building near the entrance of Coex Mall, next to the Samseong subway station and Piano Fountain Square.

The 6-story glass complex was created by KITA and Coex to promote Korean art and culture. Even the building’s shape - that of a “gat” (갓), or a traditional Korean hat - reflects its creators’ goals.
